November 3 - 7, La Rochelle (France)
Last November, our partner organization CDIJ La Rochelle hosted the inspiring Blocks 2 Build training course, bringing together youth workers and educators from across Europe. Satellites was pleased to send 2 youth workers for this project. The Erasmus+ professional development activity focused on project design, coordination, and management tools, empowering participants with practical skills to support young people in developing impactful projects.

A Collaborative Learning Experience
Throughout the five-day program, participants engaged in dynamic workshops covering essential topics such as:
✅ Identifying project needs using the Ikigai framework
✅ Exploring project management tools like the Problem-Solution Tree, SMART goals, and Work Breakdown Structures
✅ Understanding EU funding opportunities and Erasmus+ project structures

Hands-On Methods and Exchange
The training was highly interactive, featuring creative exercises, teamwork challenges, and real-life case studies. A highlight was the ProjectX simulation, where participants designed and pitched their own project ideas, applying newly acquired knowledge in a practical setting.
Uniting for a Common Goal
Beyond the sessions, the training fostered an incredible atmosphere of collaboration and intercultural exchange. The diverse group of participants brought unique perspectives, making the learning process even richer.
We extend our gratitude to CDIJ La Rochelle for hosting this event and to our amazing European partners from Norway (TVIBIT), Bosnia and Herzegovina (PONTEM), and Georgia for their contributions.
This project was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
